Everyone should have a comprehensive major medical health insurance policy, with a low deductible. But because of pre-existing medical conditions some people can't get it. Aetna is offering major medical coverage for some preexisting medical conditions without waivers or riders (ex: allergies, asthma, back or knee problems) and some serious medical conditions that would be declined (ex: some cancers and heart diseases, type 2 diabetes, overweight).
Assurant Health is offering KeyMed for medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, leukemia, Crohnıs disease, hemophilia, overweight as well many other medical conditions. This limited hospital, medical, surgical plan provides a health insurance solution who are ineligible for major medical insurance or who prefer a health plan without an exclusionary rider. KeyMed provides coverage for prescriptions, office visits, lab tests, X-rays, hospitalization, surgery and more.
